 1. What level of Spanish do I need to teach abroad?

Having knowledge of Spanish is not required but it can be very useful to have some language tools in order to make your stay more comfortable.

   2. Do I need prior teaching experience for participating?

Generally, you don’t need prior teaching experience to register yourself in these programs. 

   3. Can I get in touch with my host family or school before traveling?

You have to wait until having your confirmation with the details of your family. But it is highly recommended getting in touch before your arrival.

   4. Do I have to pay for my meals during my stay?

No, you don’t. Meals are included on you accommodation. You won’t have extra expenses as long as you accept your host family eating habits and their schedules.

   5. Will I get some help on the preparation of my classes?

We will provide orientation sessions to help you on the process. 

   6. How many hours do I have to teach?

That depends on your program. You must teach 15 hours per week on the Standard program and 25 hours per week on the Customized type. 

   7. Will I have any kind of study material to prepare my classes?

On the Standard type, you won’t. You will have to bring the study material and books for your classes. You will have to afford your teaching material costs so it’s recommendable to bring your own thing from your country.

On the Customized program you will have the counseling of your tutor.
