Spanish´s Levels and Method



 

COINED  offers 6 different levels following the requisites and guidelines of the Common European Framework of Reference. Each level is divided into 2 sublevels varying from lesser to greater linguistic capability.

 

A1 BASIC A2 ELEMENTARY
Basic communication. You will acquire basic understanding by fundamental grammatical and communicative structures such as greetings, talking about yourself, giving an opinion, conjugating present tense verbs. Functional communication. You will be able to express yourself functionally in different contexts by increase your level of grammar and vocabulary.
B1 INTERMEDIATE B2 ADVANCED
Fluent communication. You will get fluency in the language accompanied by a greater comprehension of the language and culture. Effective communication. You will expand your ability to debate and express opinions in details and you will enlarge your topics.
C1 SUPERIOR C2 PROFICIENCY
Solid communication. You will learn to express your ideas at more abstract level by perfecting your grammar skills and dominating idioms, as well as gaining a wider knowledge of the country’s culture. Bilingual communication. You will focus on refining your oral and written skills while developing a global perspective of the country’s culture in relation to your particular field of interest.

Teaching Method

Our goal is to help you to develop the skills and concepts necessary to feel comfortable in any speaking situation.

We include theory and practice addressing all of the linguistic and functional aspects of the spoken language, along with key socio-cultural information. We always combine grammar, reading, writing, listening, speaking and vocabulary in our lessons in order to approximate you to an authentic communicative environment.

We use textbooks, newspapers, magazines, audio-visual material, literary works and games in our lessons to promote your active and intellectual involvement.
