How is my Spanish level determined?

On the first day of class, you will take a placement test to determine the Spanish course you will attend to. It is possible that you change classes depending on how quickly you improve.

What happens if there is not a course for my level?

If there is no Spanish course according to your level, a course will be opened for you and you will have individual classes until other students with the same level of Spanish arrive. The price of these individual classes will be the same as that of the group classes.

Can I make a combination of different locations for my Spanish course?

Your Spanish course can be divided and taken in different places as COINED has Spanish schools in various countries in Latin America, it is possible to program a study trip around Guatemala, Chile and Argentina. In all our Spanish schools you will find COINED's quality approved seal, which guarantees our professionalism and efficiency. Programs and syllabuses are the same in each school.

What will COINED certificate specify?

The certificate issued by COINED specifies the level of Spanish achieved and the amount of hours you have studied. Each student will be given a progress report which includes the skills developed during your course and a recommendation letter from your teacher.

What is the didactic method?

You will begin with practical situations and grammatical forms will gradually be introduced during the Spanish classes. The lessons apply for situations used in daily life, with fun and diverse methods.
Grammatical explanations are given in exercises that combine images and games, as well as audio elements, so that you also improve listening skills. COINED teaching staff provide personalized support to help you improve your language use.

How many levels are there?

We have 13 levels from beginner to advanced level and six more levels from high-advanced to superior.

Is the didactic material included in the Spanish course?

Yes. When you begin your course we give you the Spanish course material according to your level.

Will I get a good Spanish knowledge?

Studying at COINED has many advantages but you should make the effort to attend all your classes and devote time to homework. We incorporate unique methods in our teaching that give you the possibility of getting an excellent level of Spanish.
