What to Expect on Your First Day at COINED’s Spanish School?

Our staff will be waiting for you one hour before the normal schedule on your first Monday t

o give you the written and oral test in order to accurately determine your Spanish’ level.
After this evaluation we allocate you in the appropriate group considering your level. Classes start right after the placement test. If you have never studied Spanish before, you will not need to take the level exam: you will be placed directly in the Beginners group to start learning Spanish right away. If we have doubts about your level, you will have a short interview with a teacher before starting your class.

Welcome Lunch for Beginners

We want you to feel like in home, so, after you finish your  classes this first Monday in the school we always organize a welcome lunch for you and your new fellows. This is an excellent opportunity to meet others students and all the teachers...

Our staff gives you a folder with information related to the city main attractions, school timetable, extra-activities for the month, among other useful information. This is a very good moment to ask our staff about transportation, special rules at the school, resolve doubts about accommodation or other services you may be interest in taking with us.

Finally, after lunch, we have a very enjoyable city tour in the surroundings of the school. Our staff will be guiding you all over the walk, telling you about typical things and giving you some special tips that will allow you to fully immerse yourself into the Spanish world and culture.
